Wutzler Machine Shop was established in 1972. Since that time, we have provided our customers with flawless quality, dependable on-time delivery and modest prices.
Paul and Carole Wutzler started Wutzler Machine Shop in 1972, with two small children (Christine and Erich), a mill and a lathe in the corner of a casting house. By 1973, Wutzler Machine moved into a garage and added another mill, another lathe and a drill press. As the business grew and more equipment was added, we needed to expand again, so in 1975, we moved into 2 units at 310 N. Juanita Street. In 1977, Wutzler Machine Shop incorporated and became Wutzler Machine Corporation. Then in 1980, Wutzler Machine expanded into the entire building. In 1995, we added our first Vertical Machining Center. We continue to recycle and use environmentally friendly cutting fluids. Most recently, we installed enough solar panels to nearly eliminate our electrical consumption.
Paul and Carole raised Christine and Erich in the machine shop. After school, they would sweep, clean, file papers, de-burr parts, and help with hardware installation. As they grew up, more responsibilities were added. Both learned how to follow procedures, operate the machines, inspect parts and provide support to customers and other employees. Finally, becoming integral employees to the business. Being a family business, we have had the privilege of raising two sets of grandchildren in the shop, sharing the tradition of hard work, commitment, and responsibility with another generation.
We have a dedicated well-trained staff, committed to continuous improvement and safeguarding customer interests, information and property. Wutzler Machine Corporation believes that maintaining the highest ethical standards is essential for good business.
Since 1972, business has grown, we've added equipment and weathered many dips in the economy. We believe in hard work, learning from the past and focusing on the future.
